“ 4.5, really, but you know... It's not 5 stars because of a few reasons: poor parking situation, which can really dampen someone's ability to actually get to know this very popular restaurant; the drink situation was disappointing to my husband, as he felt there should've been more options; as a plus size person, the seating/spacing can be quite tricky, and those metal chairs are the bane of anyone who has a booty. Negatives aside, the staff seemed to be very warm and friendly, and our food was delicious! My husband yearns for Yoshinoya (IYKYK), and he said this place is definitely a runner up for a dupe, so yay! You get very large and filling portions, food is hot and fresh, and quality seems to be fresh and good. The inside of the restaurant is simple but welcoming on a windy, cold evening. I would recommend but...maybe Uber there. ”

“ I got the una-gyu don while my boyfriend got the sukiyaki don. Overall, there was a decent amount of food with tasty meat but it still felt quite pricy considering it was ~$20/person after tax (before tax). The service was minimal-- they simply brought us our food and cleaned up after we were finished. The ambiance is very quaint, clean, and reminded me of small shops in Asia. Good experience but I don't think I'd go out of my way to try it again when there are cheaper and better places more north. ”

“ The location is small, quaint and clean. The staff are nice and pleasant especially for a counter service restaurant. The food was fantastic. My wife loved the volcano bowl and I enjoyed my chicken katsu curry. The curry has a nice delicate flavor, but I do wish it was a little spicier. Overall we really enjoyed coming here. ”

They were all delicious and are why Donburi Station is my go-to restaurant anytime I'm in the area and craving japanese food! ”

“ Been wanting to check out Donburi station for so long! Went on a Wednesday night, and it wasn't busy. Ordered thru the kiosk which was convenient. I got the chirashi bowl and liked it! Some of the fish didn't seem as good quality tho. Salmon was the one i liked best!! I think next time i'd just go for the salmon bowl. There aren't plenty of seats, but they are available. They bring your food to you, but you bus the table yourself after. Overall, It's a nice little Japanese restaurant in Georgetown! ”

“ This place is so yummy. Their fish is incredibly fresh and I loved their sushi rice. It has a ton of flavor and the portion was really filling. I got their chirashi bowl and would definitely get it again. Eel isn't normally my favorite, but their eel is really soft and flavorful. The inside is cute and quaint with an adequate amount of seating. Service was a bit slower, but I didn't mind the wait for how good the food was. They do close around 2pm, so make sure to get here before then! ”
